ooooh this set is so darling. I thought the set was perfect with WSK's Pink Chicks colorway and when I opened the package from Lyndsey at cake. I was blown away. I am stocking this weekend a few custom slots - this will be it for a bit - I have closed my list and I can not thank you enough for your interest in sticky peas. I will be working the month of March on these orders. I do plan to stock some instock items on my HC in March but no custom slots.....Thank you for all the mamas that have been sharing action shots. I love seeing them - and also for all the mamas that helped me adjust the sizing on my Large fitteds/AI2's - you rock my world :)

been a long time....
...It has been a while since I have posted and since then many changes have come about to our family and to sticky peas.
My daughter was diagnosed with chronic bronchitis and started falling ill again this past fall. I decided it was time to let go of my job as consultant so I could stay home with her, after all daycare was not a good place for a sick child. I am finally caught up with my customs after a chectic fall and Christmas season and will be getting ready to stock some custom spots on my HC this week. I had many challanges as a WAHM and many came from finding the right suppliers for tags and bamboo. Many of you have seen the evolution of the sticky peas tags....I have tried everything to try to find a great tag and FINALLY I did. These are here to stay!!!! They are beautiful Damask woven tags with the sticky peas logo.
I have been using organic bamboo products for a while now but my supplier has just certified that they are also in compliance with all CPSC new regulations. All have been certified to have 0.0ppm of lead.
Through my customs many changes have happened to the NRSS's. I get many requests for individual needs therefore enabling changes to my diapers. Sometimes these changes result in an improved product ... Although I will take you down memory lane.....I will also conclude with the new generation of sticky peas products. The NRSS has completed its journey and the pattern which I am now using is the last one. As with my prefolds, the NRSS is complete!
First generation NRSS....I made this for the many mamas that were afraid of using prefolds. To design t, I took one of my prefolds, rolled and out came the shape of the NRSS (after a few tweaks).
The rise was too short for many older babies so I introduced the longer rise NRSS. This NRSS includes an 18" rise. I then had many requests for a T&T NRSS. I loved my first design T&T NRSS:
This design was sooooo fluffy!!!! But after receiving a bad batch of elastic, I realized there was a fatal flaw in my design: No way to repair the elastic. That left me wondering what T&T design I would enjoy making and would be easily repairable. So I modified my NRSS. In doing so I realized that there were a few design elements that could use some adjusting.
Also, I had many request for a full panel on the outer of my NRSS so I tested a few and the response was overwhelming. I am still concerned with how the fabric will hold up over time as knit fabrics were not made to take pins and snappis so I had to modify my policies to address this potential issue. I have found that Frey Check will help keep the little pin holes in check.
With all my adjustments and pattern making (I have spent MANY nights up until 2am pattern making), I decided I would go ahead and take it all the way and complete my vision of Sticky Peas by offering fitteds as well as AI2's (we are an AI2 + prefold family after all)....I am working on my final tweaks with my testers and I will stock my new AI2's hopefully this week. These will be available with an xtra sewn in soaker of Zorb via customs spots.
I thank you for your continued support.....see you on my HC!

I will continue to offer serged NRSS's and also begin to regularly offer my T&T NRSS. The pattern will remain the same, however I have had some requests for XL NRSS and I have complied. I will therefore offer XL NRSS via customs only. I am working on a newborn pattern as well. More details to come shortly. The evolution of a product line, is exhausting and yet so rewarding. I thank each and every mama out there that has posed new challenges, enabling the betterment of my products.I thank you for your continued support.....see you on my HC!

...in with the new
My friend Val called me last night to tell me it was time to update my blog - and she is right. I have been so busy sewing to stock the store, working on some new products and well, having three kids ages 4yrs old and under is a challenge sometimes. This past weekend we celebrated my oldest 4th birthday and my youngest son will be 3yrs old in two weeks !!! Sometimes it seems so wild that 4yrs ago I had no children and now I have 3!!!!!
The past month has brought new challenges with my materials....I am happy (relieved) to know that they have all been resolved. In the middle of my tag crisis however, I found a new solution. These beautiful tags were digitized for me in a hurry and I can not thank Krista from Nellybeans enough! Here it is:
These tags will come with all my NRSS™. What is a NRSS™, its my new NO ROLL SIMPLY STICKY:
Introducing the NRSS™
I made this pre-fitted/pre-simply sticky fitted for all the mamas that are afraid of using prefolds! This is your no roll option! The NRSS™ has all the yummy qualities you have come to expect from sticky peas products. This is a one size fits all.....It comes with 3 doublers!!!! Yes 3 doublers....it will come with the traditional sticky peas doubler PLUS wool liner as well as an additional lay in soaker that can be used for the smallest setting or as a booster. I have always disliked how one size diapers come with one size soakers. Soakers I believe are sized to ensure proper fit! I am so excited to offer NRSS™ to all the mamas that are afraid of rolling prefolds and have wanted to try my products - and now you can, worry free! Also, after testing many different styles, I decided to leave them as simply stickys, they just snappi so well and are so wicked trim. I decided not to do an entire knit print outer so that I could keep the middle section with additional absorbency and the terry just takes the snappi like a champ! So when will these be ready to sell - they will be at my next stocking which I am hoping will occur either this weekend or next week sometime. Action shots will be included in the listings. I can not tell you how yummy these are!!!!!!
I am also working my way through my customs list and will then be restocking some spots on my HC cart. I am currently about 10 days away from completing all my customs orders so if you have a customs pending with me now, your package should be getting ready to be shipped in the next 10 days. As always, please contact me with any questions. I am usually very quick to respond. I have been a little slower at emails lately because of all the family which has been in and out celebrating Max's birthday and now Jake's turn!!!

What a stocking!
In the last month I have uploaded some HTF stockings. Some of these fabrics are from my private collection and I do not have much of some at all. I hope everyone has enjoyed these treats! Tonight I have up for auction Munki Etch and have BIN Sushi, Happy Campers and a few more ;)
I spent the month of September reordering many bamboo fabrics and such. It was a crazy month trying to round up more supplies as I ran out of EVERYTHING including tags. My customs took a little longer to complete b.c of the delays I experienced with delays in shipping. Everything is here now, therefore my turn around times should stay true.
Also I have a new newsletter. Be sure to sign up for it on my HC cart! And one last note, I am starting a frequent buyers program. I occur ed to me as i got my coffee card punched that how cool would it be to do it with my diapers as well. After all, everyone loves being rewarded for being a loyal customer! All purchases made through my HC cart and through customs will qualify and I will apply credit retroactively for all purchases made this summer. Just contact me so we can figure it out. The "freebie" will be a surprise diaper and in stock diapers do not qualify unless we have worked something out ahead of time!
Again, my family and I thank each and everyone of you for your support!
See you tonight!
